Saudi Arabia’s Haramain High-Speed Train has once again proven its efficiency and reliability by achieving a remarkable milestone—transporting 48,000 passengers in a single day during the holy month of Ramadan.
The high-speed rail service, which connects the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, plays a crucial role in accommodating Umrah pilgrims and daily commuters. With the surge in travelers during the last ten days of Ramadan, Saudi Railways (SAR) significantly increased the train frequency to 130 trips per day, ensuring a seamless and efficient journey for worshippers.
